The Northwest Suburban Communications Council was first started in March of 2015 “to build a robust network of communications professionals willing to share best practices and collaborate throughout the year.” Recently, District 214 invited a variety of communications experts to participate in a professional development luncheon focused on strategic marketing planning.
Julie Poulos, Red Caffeine’s VP and Sales Lady Extraordinaire, was invited to speak to the council that included villages, libraries, park districts, and police and fire departments.
Julie broke the ice with a giant group luncheon selfie! She then shared the steps to developing an integrated marketing plan and the importance of marketing, even for the non-traditional organization.
The Northwest Suburban Communications Council has invited Julie to return in March to take a deep dive into specific marketing tactics.
